There is no charge for preliminary discussions whether an assignment follows or not. Fees are usually expressed as a daily rate but other basis of charging can be agreed Agreed fees and any expenses are clearly described in the formal proposal that you accept before an assignment begins You may prefer an inclusive fee with no additional expenses charged: alternatively you may wish to provide or pay for accommodation and travel in addition to a basic fee. Both approaches are acceptable Variables such as duration, location (country and whether city centre or remote area) facilities provided and whether all work has to be done on your premises all influence the fee Subject to those considerations, you can expect the proposal to set out a fee of between UK400 and UK500 (490 euros and 600 euros or equivalent local currency) per day.
